| She’s got an idea! | У неё есть идея! |
| She blows a lot of pepper at the witch. | Она кидает много (молотого) перца в (глаза) ведьму. |
| Now the witch can’t see. | Теперь ведьма не может видеть. |
| "Help! Where am I?" she shouts. | "Помогите! Где я?" кричит она. |
| Gretel pushes the witch into the fire. | Гретель толкает ведьму в огонь. |
| "Ahh!" shouts the witch. | "Ааа!" кричит ведьма. |
| Gretel runs to Hansel’s cage. | Гретель бежит к клетке Гензель. |
| Gretel opens the door of the cage and Hansel comes out. | Гретель открывает дверь клетки и Гензель выходит (из неё). |
| They are very happy. | Они очень счастливы. |
| "Let’s take the bad witch’s gold," says Hansel. | "Давай заберём золото плохой ведьмы" говорит Гензель. |
| "That’s a good idea," says Gretel. | "(Это) хорошая мысль" говорит Гретель. |
| They take the gold and leave the house. | Они берут золото плохой ведьмы и уходят из дома. |
| They see some birds. They sing: | Они видят птиц. Они поют: |
| "Little birds, little birds, | "Птички, птички, мы потерялись, |
| We’re lost and alone. | и одни в лесу остались. |
| Little birds, little birds, | Птички, птички, помогите, |
| Take us home." | нас домой вы отведите" |
| The birds take them home. | Птицы приводят их домой. |
| Father is very happy when he sees his two children. | Отец очень счастлив когда видит двух (своих) чад. |
| "You are home!" he says. "I’m very happy!" | "Вы (снова) дома!" говорит он. "Я так счастлив!" |
| The bad stepmother does not live there now. | Плохая мачеха ныне не живёт там(в их доме). |
| Hansel and Gretel give father the gold. | Гензель и Гретель (от)дают отцу золото. |
| Now they will never be hungry. | Теперь они никогда не будут голодными. |
| Everyone is happy! | Все счастливы! |
